Handmade birch plywood floating media stand/console.

This is made from BB grade birch plywood finished with a coat of natural matt lacquer, to provide protection against liquid spillages.

The unit is open at the front and back and is ideal for housing a Sky/BT box and hiding plug sockets behind.

Each joint is routed and fixed with countersunk wood screws to provide a sleek and contemporary finish. The unit is fixed to the wall through a batten attached at the rear of the unit.

The internal height is 164mm, so please ensure that this is sufficient for your needs. However, this is purely an example and it can be made to any dimensions you require and further options can be added.

For example:

-Additional shelves;
-Floor-standing instead of fixed to the wall, with the addition of castor wheels, if required;
-Different dimensions;
-A rebate at the back of the unit to allow cables to pass through.
